About the event

The fourth lunar day (chaturthi) is always dedicated to Ganapati, but the chaturthi in shukla-paksha of the month of Bhadrapada (August-September) is considered the most important. In India, it is celebrated as Ganesha's birthday and turns into a real festival that can last up to 10 days. Veneration of Ganesha - the patron saint of the entire material world - removes obstacles in any undertakings, especially on the path of spiritual development. During the holiday, it is good to read Ganapati with the help of pujas, as well as remember the many stories and legends associated with it.

The program of the holiday in Moscow includes japa and meditation. It is believed that Ganapati, having received initiation from Gorakshanath, acquired the form of a yogi and through diligent practice became one of the nine great Nava-naths. He protects all yogis and helps them in sadhana.

Time: 19:00 - 20:30

Participation fee: 800 rubles.
